The laser light source has a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours (11.4 years) of continuous 24x7 operation in eco mode. Delta’s laser engines are sealed against dust and humidity with an IP6X rating to ensure that all other active components also have a life expectancy exceeding 100,000 hours. Delta’s laser engines are IP6X certified dustproof which also ensures consistent brightness over the life of the engine, avoiding the common issue of a rapid decay in actual brightness early in engine life due to the accumulation of dust particles on optical light path surfaces inside the projection engine. Delta uses matched laser banks of a single color to create the full color spectrum ensuring stable long term color convergence. Should one laser diode bank fail, color is unaffected.Multiple Additional Layers of Redundancy
Delta provides dual auto-switching inputs standard and in addition separate dual driver circuits for each laser bank. Further, should one laser bank fail the others would continue functioning with no effect on the color.
